Panic Stricken Celebration

I have so many things in my life to be thankful for. At the same time those things seem to be torturing me at this moment. I know I will overcome these obstacles and that everything will be okay but I am currently panic stricken and I need to whine a bit and get it out.............I totally understand if you leave this post immediately!

For the past year I have been working on my Rank I in special education. The program has been a breeze overall - until now. I am currently enrolled in my final two classes. Both of which will end on August 27th (Hooray!!) These classes seem to have more work in them than my other classes combined. I have a 25 page paper that will be great reading for someone wanting to be bored into a coma as well as 10 other assignments ranging from 3 to 8 pages each. All with appropriate references in APA style - blah, blah, blah. 8 weeks left to get it all done doesn't seem like enough time. And add to that my need to get it all done before school starts in 4 weeks and you can understand my panic!

In addition in August I will be taking on a brand new chapter in my career. I will be teaching special education at Warren East Middle School! I am so excited about it! I love the people I work with and am so thankful that this job has been given to me. I can't wait to get started but I am worried about all of the responsibility that comes with being a special educator. The paper work and legality that you are responsible for is add that to all of the classwork and I AM STRESSED TO THE MAX!!!!

I know I can do it and am thankful to have to opportunity to be on both of these adventures but friends say a prayer that I don't have a melt down (or a mental break down) in the process!

Thanks for letting me whine! And yes I am planning to celebrate in a BIG way when that Rank I is finished! Woo hoo! No more grad classes EVER!!!
